BLEPHAROPLASTY (Eyelid and Lower Eye Area) – Dr. Truesdale offers a full range of solutions for those who want to improve the look of their eye area. He can help with under-eye darkness, excess fat above or below the eyes, creating an eyelid crease, and more.
Types of blepharoplasties include:
- Upper blepharoplasty – An upper blepharoplasty can reduce or eliminate sagging eyelids and puffiness. The eyes are a focal point of the face, so an upper blepharoplasty can dramatically rejuvenate your appearance. The incision is well hidden in the natural lid crease and often improves peripheral vision that was disrupted by excess skin hanging over.
- Lower blepharoplasty – a lower blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that reduces bags or wrinkles under the eyes.
- Asian blepharoplasty – an “Asian blepharoplasty” is a surgical procedure which creates a “double lid” and recountors the fat given the specific anatomic differences often seen in Asian patients. Dr. Truesdale uses a specialized suture technique to create a natural-looking lid-crease.
BROW LIFT – A brow lift is a procedure to rejuvenate a brow which has dropped, or to change the shape of the brow to harmonize the arch. As we age, the brow tends to fall (called brow ptosis). A brow lift can help turn back the hands of time by re-elevating your arch and reducing wrinkles in the top third of the face. It can be combined with other procedures, such as a blepharoplasty or a face lift, to improve the overall look of your eyes and face and restore a youthful and pleasant appearance.
BUCCAL FAT REMOVAL – Buccal fat removal is a surgical procedure to decrease fullness in the lower cheeks to reveal a more contoured face and more prominent cheekbones.
CHIN AUGMENTATION – A chin augmentation refines and improves the bone contour of the chin area. Dr. Truesdale places an “implant” directly on the bone of the chin, well below the skin. This implant brings balance to your profile and approves the appearance of your jawline.
EAR SURGERY (OTOPLASTY) – A cosmetic otoplasty is surgery to change the shape, position, or size of the ears. It can also be done to repair ears that have been damaged from injury or piercings. Surgery to draw protruding ears closer to the sides of the face is also commonly known as ear pinning.
MID-FACELIFT – A mid-facelift, also known as a cheek lift, is a surgical procedure that lifts the cheek. This procedure addresses one of the earliest signs of aging – sagging of the cheeks and surrounding areas. A mid-facelift is distinct from a traditional facelift, which may not fully treat the upper cheek, upper mouth, and lower eye areas. Candidacy can be determined during consultation.
FACIAL FAT TRANSFER – Facial fat transfer is the transfer of fat from one area of the body to the face for patients looking to reduce wrinkles and improve volume lost in the face. It is considered a more permanent and natural alternative to dermal fillers and other injectables.
LIP LIFT – A lip lift is an in-office surgical procedure that enhances the look and fullness of the lips. A lip lift can shorten the distance between the nose and the upper lip to give a more rejuvenated appearance. A lip lift can also increase the amount of upper lip that is shown to provide enhanced volume and “red show” for patients with thin lips.
FACELIFT – A facelift is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. It elevates the skin and tightens the underlying muscles and tissues to give a more youthful appearance. Dr. Truesdale specializes in the deep plane facelift, the most advanced facelift technique that delivers the best, most natural results. A necklift is included in this procedure.
NECK LIFT – A neck lift is a surgical procedure that improves visible signs of aging in the neck and jawline. Neck muscles are tightened and excess skin around the jawline is removed to reveal a more youthful-looking and defined neck. A neck lift can be done in combination with a fat reduction procedure like neck liposuction for a more pronounced transformation, and in combination with a facelift to rejuvenate the face and neck at the same time.
SCAR REVISION – Many people have scars on their face due to injury or past surgery. Dr. Truesdale uses a variety of techniques and technologies to reduce or remove the appearance of a facial scar. Many options are non-surgical. Your treatment plan could include one or more of the following: RF micro-needling, CO2 laser, scar excision and reorientation techniques, W-plasty, Z-plasty, broken line technique, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, medications, or natural injections. During your consultation, he will evaluate your face and provide his expert opinion on the best option for you.
RHINOPLASTY – Rhinoplasty, also called a nose job or nose surgery, is a surgical procedure that can improve the structure of your nose to provide a more balanced facial appearance and beautify the entire face. It can also improve breathing in patients who have nasal abnormalities.
NECK LIPOSUCTION – Neck liposuction, also known as submental liposuction, removes fat in the neck and under the chin to reveal a sharper jawline and chin. It can be combined with other procedures to also treat sagging skin for a more youthful appearance.
