Meet Dr. Truesdale
Dr. Carl M. Truesdale is a Beverly Hills Board Certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. His advanced knowledge of facial anatomy and his artist’s eye enable him to deliver natural-looking results for all surgical and non-surgical procedures. He truly sees his facial plastic surgery practice as one of his main purposes on earth!
Dr. Truesdale’s life-long passions for medicine, culture, and the arts led him to double major in Biology and Spanish at Morehouse College, where he graduated summa cum laude. He then earned his M.D. at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, one of the top three medical schools in the United States.
Dr. Truesdale completed five years of specialized surgery training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the top-ranked University of Michigan. During residency, he completed a surgical mission to Ghana where he taught surgical techniques, lectured, and performed life-saving procedures.
Dr. Truesdale continued his training by specializing in facial plastic surgery, and completed a facial plastic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills, CA. He began building his facial plastic surgery practice as a fellow, and decided to plant roots in the Los Angeles area long-term. Dr Truesdale is excited to welcome new and existing patients to his brand new office at 150 S. Rodeo Drive, Suite 360 in Beverly Hills, California.
Dr. Truesdale is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He has authored and presented multiple peer-reviewed papers at national meetings.
Dr. Truesdale maintains his commitment to language and the arts, and is described as a “modern-day renaissance man,” with talents not only as a skillful surgeon but also as a portrait artist, musician, and pilot.
